How it works

  1. 01

    Tell us where you are

Send us the full address and whether it is a home or a business. We will recommend the right kit.

  2. 02

    We check your site

We review your property on satellite imagery to confirm it has a clear enough view of the sky. If it doesn't work, we tell you before you pay anything.

  3. 03

    We ship your kit

Your Starlink goes out by courier, fully pre-configured.

  4. 04

Plug in, point at the sky

The Wi-Fi name and password are on a sticker on the unit. The Starlink app shows your signal strength, and we will check it with you.

  5. 05

    Send it back

Repack the kit in the box it arrived in and return it by courier. Let us know as soon as you have posted it - that is the day your charges stop.

Charging stops the day the kit is collected by the courier. You do not pay for the days it spends travelling back to us.

Book your collection before midday, Monday to Friday, and that day is your last charged day. Arrange it before noon on a Friday and the weekend is on us. If you would rather keep using the kit after collection is booked, that is absolutely fine - we simply add those days to your rental.

Get in touch

Send us a message and we'll get straight back to you.

WhatsApp is usually quickest, but info@internetrescue.co.uk works just as well - whichever suits you better. We're here every day, Monday to Sunday, 9am to 5pm.

Once we hear from you, we'll take a quick look at your address on satellite imagery to check you've got enough clear sky. If we don't think it'll work, we'll let you know.

Or leave your details and we'll come to you

What you'll receive

One box, four steps, no engineer. Here's exactly what turns up and what to do with it.

  1. 01

    It arrives in one box

Couriered to your door. Everything you need is inside, so there is nothing else to buy.

  2. 02

    Open it up

A Starlink dish, its stand, the router and a single cable. Already set up and ready to go.

  3. 03

    Plug it in

One cable from the dish to the router, and the router into the mains. That is the whole job.

  4. 04

    Point it at the sky

Somewhere outside with a clear view upwards. The Starlink app tells you when the signal is good.

Illustrations are placeholders - swap these for real photographs of your own kit when you have them.

Your questions, our answers

How quickly can I get connected?

Every enquiry is checked by hand before we ship, so we can be sure the kit will actually work at your address. Approved before 2pm and your kit is with you the next working day. Once it arrives, setup takes a few minutes.

Why do you need my full address?

Satellite internet needs a clear view of the sky. Before we ship anything, our managing director checks your property on satellite imagery to confirm there is enough open sky and that trees or taller buildings are not in the way. It takes us a few minutes and it means you are not paying for kit that cannot get a signal.

What if my property does not have a clear view of the sky?

We will tell you before you pay anything. If the main building is obstructed, we may still be able to help by siting the dish elsewhere on the property - a garden, a flat roof or an outbuilding - and we will talk that through with you.

When does the daily charge start and stop?

Charging starts on the day your kit is delivered and stops on the day you let us know it is back in the post. Tell us as soon as you have handed it to the courier - you are not charged for the days it spends travelling back to us. There is a minimum rental of 5 days.

Do I need to be technical to set it up?

No. The kit arrives pre-configured. You plug it in, put the dish somewhere with a clear view of the sky, and connect to the Wi-Fi name and password printed on the unit. Call us and we will confirm your signal is strong before you rely on it.

Is there a minimum rental period or a contract?

There is a minimum rental of 5 days. Beyond that there is no long-term contract and no notice period - you keep the kit for as long as you need it and send it back when your usual line is working.

Is there a deposit?

For home rentals we take a deposit of £100. You get all of it back once the kit is returned in good condition. Business and enterprise rentals do not require a deposit; liability for the equipment is set out in your contract instead.

What area do you cover?

We ship Home Rescue and Enterprise Rescue kits anywhere in mainland UK. Enterprise Rescue Pro includes an engineer visit, so that one covers the Midlands and surrounding areas. If you are not sure whether we can reach you, feel free to reach out.

What happens if the kit is damaged or lost?

The kit stays our property throughout the rental and you look after it while it is with you. Fair wear and tear is expected and never charged for. If only the mount is damaged, you pay for the mount - not the whole kit. For home rentals your liability is capped at your £100 deposit: if something goes genuinely wrong, that is the most you can lose and we absorb the rest. Business and enterprise rentals carry no deposit, and liability is set out in your contract before you sign it.
